Wednesday, Nov 04, 2009 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Palo Alto Arts Center (1313 Newell Road, Palo Alto)
Co-Sponsored Event with The Commonwealth Club, feat. Jonathan Zittrain, Author of "The Future of the Internet - and How to Stop It."
Cloud computing is not just for computers anymore. You can now find as much mindshare as you can afford out in the cloud too - new projects are making the application of human brainpower as purchasable and fungible as additional server rackspace.
What are some of the issues arising as armies of thinkers are recruited by the thousands and millions? Zittrain offers a fascinating (and non-scare-mongering) view of a future in which nearly any mental act can be bought and sold.
Tickets can be bought at the door or reserved ahead of time by calling (408) 280-5530, Code: "Harvard Club."

Jin Sho restaurant 454 S. California Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94306
Our second annual sake tasting event returns to Jin Sho, featuring a guided tasting of six premium spring and summer sakes, each custom paired with a delectable seasonal dish prepared by chef-owner Kaneko, formerly of New York City’s famed Nobu restaurant.
Since its opening in December 2007, Jin Sho has received rave reviews for the exceptional quality of its fresh fish, along with its creative interpretations of classic Japanese dishes. We have reserved the entire restaurant for this event.
